Vandoren V12 reeds are designed for clarinettists looking for a deep, rich and resonant sound with a strong, well-defined attack.

Made from cane tubes with the same diameter as those used for alto clarinet reeds, V12 reeds feature a thicker heel and longer palette, allowing more of the reed to vibrate. This produces a fuller, deeper and more expressive tone.

The V12 also has a slightly thicker tip than the Vandoren Traditional reed, providing greater body and clarity to the attack while helping to extend the reed's playing life.
